Pre-School/Kindergarten Program

Our experienced, specially trained staff utilizes the Montessori educational philosophy to design a classroom to stimulate and maximize a child’s independence and creativity, encourage his curiosity and install a life-long love of learning. Our students leave our pre-school/kindergarten with many skills and a strong sense of self-worth that provides a certainty that they can learn anything. Both half day and full day programs are available for your convenience.

Groups are formed in mid-September for children ages 2.9 to age 6.  The student ratio to teacher is 7 students to 1 teacher.

The school year for pre-schoolers/kindergarteners runs from early September to early June and loosely follows the public school calendar. In September we conduct intake interviews and orientation classes designed to ease the students into our school.  Independent separation is based on each child’s age.  However, It is amazing to see how readily the children separate as they move forward into the pre-school/kindergarten classes.  Individual separation arrangements are made for each student based on age, experience and parent preference.  A loving caregiver is expected to be available for each student until he or she comfortably separates.

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Full Day and Thursday, Friday Half Day

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Half Day and Thursday, Friday Full Day

8:45AM to 11:30AM

• 5 mornings

• 4 mornings
